It’s an interesting thought we humans have in regard to our offspring. It’s as if we view them as a different species. It’s as if they are different from us somehow.
Do unto others… Whatever you do unto the least of my brothers…
Yet here we are 6 million children in care… 73%… neglect. Our boredom at an all time high and passion at an all time low.
It’s as if we never expect them to grow up… into something different. To be standing where we are today…. and not be us… not continue the cycle of dysfunction.
We, the superior species, live in fear of one another. We kill… just for the sake of killing. We kill and rape our own.
Our women are tamed…
Our children are paying the price…
“and some have to live with the scars“
Nature… we live outside of the cycle… we play the game to our advantage. Playing solo. The Native Americans sent a hunter into exile and labeled him insane for stealing away a stash of extra food for himself… taking more than was needed.
Yet here we are living as rats… every man... woman… and child for themselves.
Let us take back our families in a very real and tangible way. Let us come together and form a sacred circle around our young. Let’s have the necessary conversations to shore up the perimeters with ultimate vigilance. Let’s hold those within the inner sanctum of that circle responsible for their words and actions around our young.
“Circle Of Life”
And blinking, step into the sun
There’s more to be seen than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done
You should never take more than you give.
It’s the leap of faith
It’s the band of hope
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the circle, the circle of lifeSome of us fall by the wayside
And some of us soar to the stars
And some of us sail through our troubles
And some have to live with the scarsThere’s far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless round.
