I hope everyone has enjoyed playing with these Universal truths. Understanding our part in our circumstances and how energy works.. the dynamics… gives us a foothold on how we can go about creating lasting change in our lives. As the Dalai Lama has recently stated, the effectiveness of prayer and concepts is of little use, unless action is involved. It requires action outside of our realm of what is normal… for us. Action, with intent toward our goals.
So let’s dive right in to our final installment in Universal Law.
The Law of Polarity states that everything is on a continuum and has an opposite. We can suppress and transform undesirable thoughts by concentrating on the opposite pole. It is the law of mental vibrations.
This is powerful on many levels.
Firstly, we are told unequivocally that we are in possession of all the power it takes to turn our lives around. We have the power to transform undesirable thoughts and circumstance by the way that we interact with it… by thinking about it differently.
I think most of us feel we have no power in this life. Things happen to us and we react. And we react in the habitual way that is usual and common for us. We live in a state of habit on many and most levels. So to be told we have choice and power is unhinging for many of us.
Along with power comes responsibility.
That’s a scary thought. The more we know the more we are required to act. The more responsibility we have to make wiser and more productive choices.
Diligence of the mind is required.
As we talked earlier within the Law of Relativity, the circumstances or challenges we encounter in our lives are conditional to the way we interact with them.
We have the choice.
We can, with intention, work to balance the scales of thought and words and weight the forward moving side. Here is the thing. No game is worth playing without challenges. It is the emotion, taking situations personally, that moves us out of our power and into chaos.
Whether we like to hear it or not… we always have a choice on how we choose to interact with the circumstance.
Without contrast would we have any appreciation for the gifts?
I like to think about Alaska. With their light and dark being a controlling factor for how their world operates. Can you imagine… as much as we love the sunshine, how you would just long for the darkness to come so that you can sleep? Or how the sunshine, or the absence of light, would change everything. Within the darkness of our cycles, we have the opportunity to regroup and come out seeing all that is new and different in our lives.
Without the challenges would we know joy? Or would we somehow find a bottom wherever we live?
This moves us easily into…
The Law of Rhythm which states that everything moves to certain rhythms. These rhythms establish seasons, cycles, stages of development, and patterns. Each cycle reflects the regularity of God’s Universe. Masters know how to rise above negative parts of a cycle by never getting too excited or allowing negative things to penetrate their consciousness.
Just like anything in our world, time runs in cycles. Just as the light fades into the darkness of night… fall turns into winter… relationships run their course…fighting cycles brings suffering. We can hate and be afraid of the dark, but each night it rolls around.
The rhythms and cycles of our lives should, in times, be honored while other times disarmed. I think it is important to understand how we operate. How we gain our creative information….
Again, it boils down to how we interact with what shows up. If we can step back into the space of the observer—free from emotional attachment—we are given the opportunity to rise out of the minutiae.
Let me share… I have always been plagued with what I had come to call depression. I let the labels attach themselves to me along with the judgments that went with it. In one of my visits with a healer, we talked about my cycles.
She urged me not to falsely judge my journeys into hibernation.
She said, “My dear, you are a very creative person. You rise out of your melancholy and create and then you lay down and rest. While you are resting, your next creation is being born. Allow. Rest into your cycles. They are necessary to what you bring to the world.”
Here is a very different place. We are taught that if you dip into the gray there is a problem. But inspiration, growth, and change come out of my times of rest. In a society that goes, goes, goes… I viewed my need to rest an issue. I lumped these cycles into the same folder as the remnants of my childhood junk and didn’t make good use of them.
I fought the rhythm of me.
That’s never a good idea. Right?
We can fight winter but each year it comes around. We can fight the rains… but they are necessary for growth.
Or… We can observe and allow.
Disarming cycles requires complete honesty with oneself. Often the observance, that light bulb that flickers, opens the door to exploration… if we choose. In seeing ourselves and how we are interacting with certain information, we can look back over time and ask to be shown the patterns of this cycle.
Ask to see the beginning.
Without the knowing’s from the beginning, we seem to fall into the same potholes over and over again. We haven’t yet incorporated what we should have learned the first time.
We have to remember. When I say remember, I am speaking of what the learning was from the encounter over the specifics… the he said and she saids. I am speaking of what would you do differently next time… given the same circumstance to cause shift in the outcome.
It’s all about what you choose to do with your turn!
The Law of Gender manifests in all things as masculine and feminine. It is this law that governs what we know as creation. This law decrees everything in nature is both male and female. Both are required for life to exist outwardly and inwardly.
Interesting to digest with the landscape of gender at this time in our existence as humans. The judgments we create around how to perceive gender. We as women feel dominated. Some feel trapped in the wrong body. While others feel the pull in both directions.
This law decrees that everything is both male and female. Each of us strives to find balance between our inner male and female parts.
Yin- Yang, an inward struggle that searches for balance.
We live in a space where our inner male counterpart is doing just as much dominating as any external being.
So… if thoughts become molecules?
It is interesting how different cultures spin it. The Native Americans saw what many see in our world today as a mix up as a highly honored gift… the gift of the two souls. They were held in esteem as the creators and the healers of the community.
They understood the inward maturity it took to completely allow the two sides of ourselves to live in complete harmony.
With our judgment and doubt.
Struggle versus honor is in the eyes of the beholder.
As with everything else in this overarching game, it all comes back to you. If your internal dialogue is running over you with undermining thoughts of your feminine worth, you will externally be surrounded by those willing to fulfill your prophecy. You are the creator. When your nature is to reach out and blame or defend one’s actions… it is you receiving the point of the finger. (As we learned with the Law of Divine Oneness.)
You are that.
Everything here is you. Just as we are taught about night time dreaming, every human that you encounter is embodying aspects of you that need integrating.
The same in this dream.
Change to your environment comes with changing you. You are the only one that can.
